Water is scarce in this area. We are lucky that our land comes with an entitlement for water, which comes from the mountain behind us. However, finding our water has not been easy. Fortunately, after 8 months of saga (connecting to the wrong source, water got diverted erroneously by our neighbour, deliberate sabotage, pipe trempled by cows, diminished volume etc), we got it all settled, just before we started building the cabin.
