South of Taidong city is Taimali, a long stretch of fine sandy beach on the Pacific Coast. Go up the mountain to Jinzhen Shan (太麻里金針山) and the scenery can be completely different. Depending on the season, your eyes are feasted by different flowers. Cherry blossom in spring and jinzhen flowers in summer.
