Hylocereus undatus or Night-Blooming Cereus.  A member of the cactus family, the blooms appear at night and soon close after the day starts. There seems to be many Chinese names: 霸王花, 曇花,  There’s a Chinese saying “曇花一現” meaning something extremely rare; short-lived; “a flash in the pan”.

由於在晚上開花,而且又很重的花香,所以又叫月下美人。晚間開放,至次日早凋謝。開花時長4,5個小時,因此用曇花一現來形容時間很短、稍縱即逝的機遇。
