Stanley Yan’s The Alliance Foundation organises an English and Creative summer camp for high school kids here in Taidong. They are so lucky to have access to and be inspired by these world-class masters at such a young age.
When we came out of the private dining room of the most famous restaurant in Taidong serving aborigines food, there was a commotion from the restaurants. The locals spotted Taidong County Chief Justin Huang and Kimbo, a son of Taidong. The tourists from Taipei spotted Stanley Yan, Lin Huaimin (of Cloud Gate Dance) and Cai Guoqiang (the artist who paints with gun powder).
Met an interesting person, Yosifu. He is from Amis tribe and now lives in Edinburgh. He’s invited back by Stanley to inspire the young kids to dream big and not set a limit to their potential.
