Neighbour Wilang came bearing gifts from his farm. Aren’t these eggs lovely? They come in different sizes delivered on a cushion of shredded coconut leaves.
The eggs come from this luxury coop. The whole rearing compound is split into three separate buildings: nursery where little chicks stay to avoid infection, school-age chicken where male and female are segregated , and the adult coop where one rooster is matched with 20 hens. This is what I love about country life in Dulan, we share whatever we grow in the farm.
