Although the house suffers no damage, the road down the hill was blocked by fallen trees. Thanks to our neighbour’s mighty electric saw, the road is clear again.
We moved every movable items out of the wind and tied down stuff that can’t fit inside the house like the BBQ, the only thing we did not tie down is the Dedon Daydream. Thought it would be too big to get blown away. We were wrong. It got blown about 20m down two levels of terrace.
Fortunately, Kulas made sure the rice just planted a week ago are not damaged. By having them submerged in water, they won’t be subject to the gusty wind.
