Naked House faces the Pacific Ocean and Green Island is on the horizon, shaped like a crocodile from our vantage point. We have lived here ten years and this is the first time I stepped foot on the island.

凱旋一號 The ferry ride is only 50 minutes from Fugang Harbour. I was told the ride would be really rough but it was smooth sailing all the way. Lucky me.

We can see the beam of this lighthouse from Naked House. In 1937, American liner President Hoover hit a reef and was grounded at Green Island(Lyudao). The locals made their best effort to rescue liner passengers day and night. In order to show the gratitude, the US donated a lighthouse in the following year.
The lighthouse on the northern tip of the airport runway. It’s possible to fly here on this 19 seater plane, takes only 15 mins from Taitung airport.
