Heard some loud bangs upstairs, sounded like someone clambering over furniture. With a stick in my hand, Ping behind me holding the torch light, we found the culprit. This furry fat cat. Caught in the door but amazingly it climbed vertically out of the trap. It happened so quickly, i wasn’t fast enough to capture it on video. 
Where there is a cat, there is probably a mouse somewhere.
Absolutely. We found many dead rats.
